  7 during the thousand year rule of christ, all of jehovah’s earthly children will have to make changes to please him.

  Me too, BluesBrother.. Remarkable in that they made the lone partaker the Star of the Show... zoomed in on him as he ate the matzoh and quaffed the wine. I mean, weren't these people paying attention to last week's Watchtower lesson which told them not to make a big fuss over partakers?

  My ExElder Best Friend Has Coronavirus

  this has been a horrible month.

  my best friend’s wife just called to tell me that my friend had to be hospitalized due to severe coronavirus complications.

  he has severe pneumonia, is put on a ventilator and is in a coma .

  for you poor saps unfortunate enough to have missed yesterday's zoom watchtower study, i thought i'd prepare a little summary for you.. in fact, to keep things really short, i'll just highlight the outstanding verbs from the article.. paragraph 2: do not view.

  paragraph 4: think seriously about the warning.....partake unworthily.

  paragraph 5: do not feel...does not give....do not feel....would never tell.

  Medical Supplies - Please Help Me Understand the Rationale About States Bidding Against Each Other

  i really don't understand why states have to bid against each other for essential items such as medical supplies.

  when you get into bidding wars, the consumers are the ones who lose.. put 50 people in an auction for a product and the one who wins is the manufacturer, not the ones purchasing.. my wife works for a multi-national corporation.

  if she is importing or exporting goods, she doesn't determine what the costs will be; this is already determined through the corporate offices that negotiate worldwide movement of products.

  The main reason is the feckless, incompetent pant-load sitting in the White House who abrogates his responsibility to orchestrate a unified federal response to an unprecedented national crisis. He's in stark contrast to several governors stepping into the breach..... notably New York's Cuomo and Rhode Island's Gina Raimondo, whose straight-talking, if blunt, leadership shames him.

  It seems that JW watching meetings via streaming are told to "dress appropriately" as though for a KH meeting... and to make sure that their surroundings (.i.e., the backdrop in the rooms against which they're videoed) conform to standards of decency!
